When it comes to the sport, almost none of the sons are good at the sport, but everyone is shocked when Merida appears before everyone, claiming that since she's a first-born as well, she'll be 'fighting for her own hand.' Elinor demands Merida stop, but she defies her mother, and makes a bulls-eye on each of the targets. This causes Merida to perk up, and she eagerly suggests archery. Per tradition, each of the first-born of the clans will fight in the event that the Princess chooses. The three clans soon arrive, and Lords MacGuffin, Macintosh, and Dingwall arrive with each of their sons. Even so, this does little to quell Merida's resentment of the betrothal. She relates the story of how the clans were descended from four brothers, but one of them wanted more power than the others, and caused the balance of power to crumble. Elinor explains to her daughter that the clans must be kept in harmony, or chaos may reign. Naturally, the young woman is not at all happy with this situation. One evening, a messenger brings word that the 3 neighboring clans have accepted the offer to fight for Merida's hand in marriage. While her mother wants her to be proper, Merida is moreso intent on practicing archery, and journeying off in the forest. In the time that has passed, Lady Elinor has given birth to three mischievous boys (triplets), and Merida is now a teenager. Time passes, and we see that Lord Fergus has lost his leg to the bear. Merida and her mother quickly take leave as Lord Fergus and his men fight against the bear. Suddenly, the mood is broken as an enormous black bear enters the camp grounds. Going back to her parents, she tells what she saw, and her mother explains that they can lead a person to their destiny. Merida runs off and retrieves it, but soon encounters a glowing blue willo-the-wisp. As Merida tries to hit a target, one of the arrows sails off into the forest nearby. Though Elinor happily plays with Merida, she grows perturbed when Fergus gives the little girl her own bow and set of arrows. Now let's go back to frozen and talk about Elsa's mother, Elsa's mother is the one you had given birth to elsa and looks exactly like elsa, what happen if Elsa's mother had her ice powers too before she got pregnant and was married ? I mean maybe meridas mother and elsa mother had the same experience as a child when they were all together?, and one more thing elsa and her mom may look alike but have different expectations for one elsa doesn't want to get married but found love that can control her powers elsa mom might've thought that contorting herself is love but in a relationship way.In a prologue, we see Lord Fergus and Lady Elinor in a forested area, celebrating the birthday of their young daughter, Merida. Like she wasn't that old when Merida was only a child right? Now this is the part that starts to make sense of my theory. And Merida was only a child but if you look at Meridas mother her hair still has that strip of white on her. Yeah yeah whatever she's old so of course there would be places of strands in her hair that turns white so what gives? But in the flash back of the story there father was talking about which was the time he cut off his leg. Have any of you people noticed her hair? If not Meridas mom has a strip of white on her too!!! But I know what your thinking. Now let's go back to the movie brave, as you all know Merida mother also has her charms and beauty but wait. So to start of about the beginning of frozen, Anna and Elsa are playing with snow as kids but suddenly elsa accidentally struck her powers on Anna which made Anna have a strip of her hair turn white. Well now let's go back to the movie brave many people had also had theories of Anna, Elsa, Rupunzel, and Merida are all related and I think It's true, especially with the moms of these charaters.
